Mint Mani for Talia Joy feat. Color Club Give Me a Hint

Hello lovelies,

I didn't have time to do a special mint mani in honour of Talia Joy but I've found this swatch of Color Club Give Me a Hint. I didn't know Talia but any loss in our beauty blogging community is a big loss and I'd like to pay my respects.

To quote Nicole from Nail Polish Wars, who made this movement happen: There is are also a hashtag circulating for this, which is #MintManisForTaliaJoy, so be sure to check out the other social media sites too! For anyone posting anything about Talia, her family has asked that we use the hashtag #TaliasLegacy as well.

Here are other bloggers who did mint mani's for Talia, please visit at least some of them.

Bridal Nails I would wear: One Stroke Flowers over Color Club Miss Bliss

Hello lovelies,

Today I have something very special! I've created these nails quite a while ago upon request of Bridal Tribe, e-magazine for brides to be, to do some special wedding nails. Well I LOVE THESE so much! I've worn them for three days (which is a long time for me!) and I couldn't stop staring at my nails. I must repeat this creation again...

I've painted with white acrylic paint over Color Club Miss Bliss using one stroke technique and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Artificial light hides the holographic effect. It all looks very soft and romantic, I absolutely adored these nails!

Over The Moon - medium blue with holographic finish. As all the other holographic polishes from the Color Club Halo Hues collections, this one also has good formula. It applied well and I needed just two coats for perfect coverage. I didn't have any problem with patching. It dried fast and the pictures below are without topcoat.

I am a member of Color Society Blogger Network which is all about Color Club and Ruby Wing polishes and this polish was sent to me from them.

Deadly Sins Challenge: GREED! More is more and I am going holographic!

Hello lovelies,

I've got here another manicure for the Deadly Sins Challenge! I went with More is more theme and I think you'll like it ;) The challenge and was put together by Alice from One Nail To Rule Them All and Nail Wish.

Illustration by Dahlig (her DeviantArt is http://dahlig.deviantart.com/)

In the end I've chosen to go double-holographic...yeah, there is such thing and no, there's never too much holo effect :D I've used Color Club Beyond as a base and then I've added gradient patches of holographic nail foil.

Lol how greedy was I?

Color Club Beyond from Halo Hues collection - Review and swatches

Hello lovelies,

I'm part of a Color Society Blogger Network and I got a chance to review this beautiful black holo. It's a Color Club Beyond from the Halo Hues collection for Spring 2013.

Beyond - black holographic colour. The colour and the holo effect are beautiful although not as strong as for example in Miss Bliss shade. It is very well pigmented, almost one-coater, but I have applied two coats for deeper shade. It applied well and the formula is not patchy as with China Glaze Hologlam collection. It also dries fast and I have used Seche Vite topcoat and OPI Natural Nail base coat.

I'm sure most of you already lust after Color Club Halo Hues but which ones are your favourites? I've already reviewed beautiful pink holo Miss Bliss and absolutely loved the insane holo effect!

You can purchase this and other polishes at the Color Club website and also at other online stores like Head2Toe Beauty or 8ty8 Beauty.

Shimmer Polish Swatch Frenzy Part 2

Hello lovelies,

Today I will show you more gorgeous Shimmer Polishes. You can view the previous Shimmer Polish swatches here.

Brooklyn - mix of big gold hex glitters with smaller aqua, purple and blue glitters. I have layered one coat of Brooklyn over Essence I Love Bad Boys. There is plenty of glitter in the bottle so one coat was more than enough for a good coverage over Essence polish. It applied easily and dried fast. I've applied topcoat.

Elsa - mix of red, gold and blue glitter.  I like the twist on the classic red-blue-white colour combination. I've applied thicker coat of Elsa over black to show the colours perfectly. Again the formula was good, easy to apply and glitter density was good. I would recommend this polish for layering rather than wearing by itself.

Mary - dark red jelly base with black, rainbow, red and blue glitter. I love Mary! It's such a gorgeous glitter bomb and look how gorgeous it looks over white! The red jelly based coloured the white and the result looks lovely. It instantly reminds me of a Valentine's Day. This is one thick coat of Mary which has great glitter density and easy application.

Nichole - mix of red, blue and silver glitter in a clear base. Yes, this is the perfect colour combination for the patriots out there whose flag colours are blue, red and white. If I think about it there's so many countries that fit that description, to name few UK, US, Russia, France and of course Czech Republic and Slovakia :) I have applied one coat of Nichole over white. It has the same great formula and glitter density as the other polishes.

Sonia - rose pink jelly with pink, purple, blue, gold and green glitter. It's a lovely feminine mix of colours and I've worn it by itself. I have applied three coats and one layer of topcoat which provided good coverage. It dried little slower because of the amount of nail polish on the nail. If layered it dries faster.

Strength - mix of turquoise, silver and holographic glitter in a clear base. The beautiful turquoise glitter comes out nicely over black background. The amount of glitter was dense yet easy to apply and polish dried fast...just like all the others :)

Vicki - mix of rose pink, gold, holographic in a pink tinted jelly base. I have layered one coat of Vicki over Color Club Secret Randez-vous, romantic pink creme. I really like this combination, it's very girly and also great for the upcoming Valentine's Day. It applied very easily and dried fast. I've applied topcoat.

I've got even more gorgeous Shimmer polishes to come so keep your eyes peeled! They all have really good formula and they apply well and when one layer applied they dry really fast too.
