OPI The Show Must Go On! - review, swatches and comparison/dupes

The Show Must Go On is the last polish from OPI Burlesque collection I was lemming for. I got it just recently and love it! Here are the other Burlesque nail polishes I reviewed.

OPI The Show Must Go On! - hot pink and burnt orange duochrome colour. The colour is simply beautiful and absolutely not boring. Formula is quite nice - I needed 2 coats for a full coverage however drying was little bit slower. Removal was ok, with little bit of fine glitters everywhere :D

Lots of people compared it to a MAC Bad Fairy but they are not quite same. The Show Must Go On is brighter than Bad Fairy. I've compared  OPI TSMGO, MAC Bad Fairy and Accessorize Pink Spice. MAC and Accessorize are dupes, there is almost no difference.

I'm in a christmasy mood and so are my nails :)

Here are the first of my christmasy nails :) I'm not going to do xmas-themed stampings, just some basic festive nails. I've used OPI Ali's Big Break and OPI Bring on the Bling.

Gradient mani with OPI Burlesque polishes

I've done one gradient mani with Tease-y Does It! and Bring on the Bling. I think it came up awesome, it looked really good :)

OPI Show It & Glow It! from Burlesque Collection

My last nail polish from Burlesque Collection is Show It & Glow It! It is mostly purple glitter with little bit of gold, silver, green and orange glitter in a clear base. It applied nicely and it didn't make 'lumps'. I have two coats in the pictures so you can see the coverage. Glitters are quite dense but still easy too apply. Removing was pain such as with all the glitters so use the foil method :)

To summarize my experience with the collection, I'll begin with the shimmers. They have great formula and  very good pigmentation, I absolutely love the shades I've got! I think OPI is spot on with this collection and I will definitely purchase some more shades! Glitters are awesome as well! Nice to apply and great variety of colours. If you don't mind the harder removal, you'll love them!

OPI Bring on the Bling - Burlesque Holiday Collection 2010

Yay! Glitter! Bring on the Bling is a gold glitter with a little bit of pink, green and orange glitter in a clear base. It was nice to apply and I have two coats in the picture....quite good coverage for a glitter :)

I totally understand why OPI did glitters again. Not only it suits the holiday and Burlesque theme but it is quite clever move after a huge success of glitters from Alice in Wonderland collection. Well done OPI!

OPI Let Me Entertain You! from Burlesque 2010 collection

Well, this colour is spot on for me! Let Me Entertain You! is duochrome fuchsia with unbelievable shimmer. This polish really has the 'bling'! It applied very easily and two coats were enough for a full coverage. I wore polish for three days and I experienced only minor chips. I expected big problems with removal as the shimmer is really like fine glitter but it was bad as glitter. I left cotton with nail polish removal soak for a while and it came quite easiy off the nail. This is my favourite polish of whole collection!

OPI Tease-y Does It! from Burlesque collection 2010

Second polish from Burlesque collection I have is Tease-y Does It! It is dark burgundy-plum colour with rich gold shimmer. It looks sometimes brownish on the nail. Polish has great pigmentation, one coat was almost enough for a full coverage. Again, I've used two coats in the end. Formula was also nice - smooth and easy to apply. Nail polish dried quite fast which is another big plus!

OPI Ali's Big Break from Burlesque collection 2010

Today I have first of five OPI nail polishes from Burlesque collection. I could do it as other bloggers normally do and do a swatch and short review but I don't think that one picture would make the justice to all the beauties. So I've decided to make post about each of the polishes, they certainly deserve it!

First of them is Ali's Break - red shimmer with gold flecks, perfect holiday colour. Polish is very well pigmented, I almost needed only one coat. I've used two as I always do. The gold shimmer is more visible in the bottle than on the nail but you can still see some. Formula was absolutely great, right now OPI is for me the brand with best polishes. Removal was without problem.

Ali's Big Break reminded me last year's Smitten with Mittens so I made a comparison. They are quite similar in the bottles but you can see a big difference on the nail. Smitten with Mittens is much darker red than Ali's Big Break and the gold flecks are more visible.
