Gold and holo teal 'Diagonals' tape manicure with tutorial! Feat. China Glaze Passion and HITS Hera

So after a weekend break from blogging I'm back with another tape mani but also with tutorial of how to create it! It's very easy 'diagonals design' which has endless potential for colour combinations. I chose to use HITS Hera, holographic green teal and China Glaze Passion, metallic gold.

HITS No Olimpo Hera - Review and swatches

Today I have something very special to show you. I got my paws on Hera from HITS No Olimpo thanks to my Brazilian swap buddy Luciana.

Hera - green teal holographic shade. This is absolutely amazing and rich shade! It reminds me of an A England Saint George but it's like on holo steroids :D  It had much better formula than the Afrodite shade, quite nice actually. I'm wearing one coats over Illamasqua Rampage and it was enough for a reasonable coverage. It didn't apply very well because of the huge brush :( I was struggling a bit. Also I'm really disappointed with the 6ml that come in the bottle. That's like using the polish 3 times and that's it!

Hits No Olimpo Afrodite - review and swatches of rose pink holographic polish

I'm still really happy about my swap with Luciana from Brazil and this is another beauty I got - Hits Aphrodite. Like many women, it's really beautiful but not worth the trouble :D :D :D And I'll tell you why...

Aphrodite - rose pink holographic polish. It's a lovely dark pink holo shade but why is it not worth the trouble? Because the formula sucks big time! It's literally like a glue, gloopy and it is patchy! This is my second attempt to apply it as the first one failed. And now imagine when I've spent quite a lot not only on the polish but also on the postage which was extortionate (not Luciana's fault) and the bottle has just 6ml. 6ml!!! That's like for four applications and if the first one fails you loose like quarter of the polish! I've tried some other shades from No Olimpo collection and they seemed to be ok so WHY there is such a difference in formula? Ok rant over, let's get back to reviewing...

Polish dries fast and smells quite funny. Not like usual nail polish, I can't describe it. The brush is really wide, for me too wide. OPI brush is the widest I can stand :-/ I don't really know how to tell if it's linear or scattered holo (please don't stone me) so I can't tell you which one it is :D But the effect is strong enough to be a nice holo effect. It is not strong as Nfu Oh or CHG OMG collection but it's ok.

Unless you really, really love the colour, don't buy this shade! Formula was awful and it's not worth your money! Other shades are ok but not this one.

If you won't be doing a swap with somebody from Brazil, you can buy Hits polishes from Llarowe for $10 or from Ninja Polish for 8$ (but mostly Out of Stock).

Hits Trend beetlejuice duochrome polish from Mari Moon MODERN set! Review and swatches

I have a gem to share today! I was very lucky to do a big swap with Luciana from Brazil and amongst other awesome polishes I got Hits Mari Moon sets. Shame they are only 6ml per bottle. Trend is the first polish from these sets I'll show you.

Trend - metallic duochrome beetlejuice green changing from yellow-green to dark green. Absolutely stunning colour, much nicer in real life. I'm wearing two thicker coats which were enough for a full coverage but the polish was quite streaky so I had to be very careful with the application. It lasted on my two days, after that I've experienced some chipping. Unfortunately every single imperfection of the nail will translate to the polish :( But this colour creates really eye-catching nails!

You all know them - Hits and Luduranas are making us all drool :D There is Ludurana Emocionante missing in the picture and it is the most beautiful multichrome I've had on my nails so far.
