I've reviewed SpaRitual Illume few days ago and I've also done a 3/4 gradient manicure with it which I'll show you today.
I've applied two thick coats of SpaRitual Illume as it has a semi-jelly formula. Then I started to create the gradient effect using two SpaRitual polishes - Knowledge and Clarity. Both Knowledge and Clarity are pink glitters so are great for gradient manicures. I've done the gradient effect on 3/4 of the nails just to make it a bit different.
So what do you think? Do you prefer gradient in the first half of the nail or on 3/4 of the nail?
And this is a tutorial of how to create this manicure:
IMPRESIONANTE.

ReplyDeleteI think its gorgeous and lovely to see the gradient fro the cuticle rather than from the tip
ReplyDeleteI love gradients and you never fail at them but to me the most practical is when I start at the tip because extra layer prevents my mani. from chipping ;) ;)

ReplyDeleteOh my, this is super pretty! Purple+gold is one of my favourite combinations of all times!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise you were in the UK, it's so good to see lots of new British nail blogs appearing. I recieved my first SpaRitual polish today and I'm in love, just looking at your blog makes me want so may note. Especially Optical Illusion, you've also giving me a lemming for OPI spotted, but I can't find it anywhere. :( I love this combination, purple has always been associated with royalty, the gold just adds to that opulent elegance. I wish I had your skill!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Alison :) Yes, I'm from UK but I'm not that new, my blog is 2,5 years old :) Thank you so much for reading and commenting, the support is what makes me want to blog more!
