I've been wanting to own this polish for a very very long time. And now I HAVE IT! I couldn't stop staring on my nails, it's such a gorgeous colour! I love you Deborah Lippmann for creating this awesomeness!
Mermaid's Dream - aqua green glitter base with blue glitters. I just can't describe this polish correctly. It's gorgeous! The combination of small glitter particles creating almost foil base, with bigger blue glitter is simply amazing! I'm wearing two coats and they were enough for a good coverage. Mermaid's Dream dries fast and gritty so I've also applied two coats of Seche Vite. The first one was quite ok but did not create the smooth glossy layer.
I couldn't resist playing with the pictures of DL Mermaid's Dream and applied some filters over some of them. Just for fun...
The mosaic filter really highlights the glitter in the polish. Nice!

ReplyDeleteI have this one and have not worn it. Cannot quite decide if I would wear it more than 1-2 times and holding on to ones like that 'till I make up my mind if I should sell 'em - donate - or give in and wear 'em. Not sure about the grit on the finish on this one for me. Love the colors however and the end look - just not the grit - would take tons and tons of Gelous and another clear topper to try and smooth this one down to my comfort zone.

I'm happy for you that you got your lemming. It can be sooo satisfying, especially if it lives up to your expectations. I felt that way with Color Club's Pucci-licious, Zoya's Bevin, and Essie's Eternal Optimist. This polish really does look as if it's glowing, as someone commented above.
