I'm back from Olympia Beauty exhibition that was epic! Looking back I regret not getting even more polishes and not taking more pics :-/ Next exhibition in the spring!
Essie is always present at exhibitions and it always looks so pretty and clean. They've had the Stylenomics collection for Fall 2012 but no metallics and glitters that I wanted to buy :( Because of that I didn't buy a single Essie polish...
This was a stand for Color Club and Ruby Wing polishes where I sadly didn't buy anything...
And this is my beloved SpaRitual stand! Lately I'm really falling for their polishes and I couldn't resist buying some shades from the new Metal collection.
And now we're talking OPI! The first thing I went to check out is whether they have the Skyfall collection for Holiday 2012...oh yes they did! More on it later...
I've also stopped at the Leighton Denny stand where I've met Nina Taylor!!! We've had a lovely chat about hand modelling and later on Leighton Denny himself joined us and complimented on my nail art manicure! Would you believe that? I was over the moon! Nina has really beautiful hands and nails, I could believe it! They were really small and thin but they looked just perfect.
There have been many stand like this including Minx that have been offering nail wraps. Nothing for me though..
I've spent a lot of time at the China Glaze stand and bought quite a few nail polishes. I've been really looking forward to get some shades from Bohemian collection and Wicked collection.
I did not really go to Pegy Sage stand with exception of taking this quick snap and I've completely missed their holographic collection! What a horror!
I've discovered Cetuem brand a year ago at this same exhibition. They offer professional beauty care but also a very wide range of nail polishes. I've reviewed some Cetuem polishes in the past but wasn't very happy with them to be honest. That's why I didn't buy any this year..
I've spotted this stand with Orly polishes hoping they would have the new glitter range but sadly they did not. And they told me off for taking pictures!!
My next stop was Seche stand where I've got Seche Restore for my Seche Vite topcoat and some other goodies for my dear friend. What's interesting is that Seche has introduced their new nail polish range at this very exhibition (at least that's what they've told me). I've tried to take as many pic I could given the pushy ladies hungry for the new colours :D you can find swatches of some of the shades at The Polish-Aholic.
NYX Cosmetics stand was fully stocked except polishes. I was not very happy about that...
And this is a quick snap of purchases for my friend..
And these are my purchases from SpaRitual and Misa:
Some China Glaze beauties...
Oooh and what's this? OPI Skyfall collection!!! I can't believe I've missed one shade so I have to get it somewhere else before I review this collection. All the polishes are beautiful but I'm a little bit disappointed with the glitter.
I've met there with three lovely girls, also bloggers - Sam from Honey Go-Lightly, Lola from Lola Star Hearts and Victoria from VIK Beauty. Thank you girls for meeting me, I've had a lovely time!
I've had a great time even though it was pouring rain my whole journey back. I've got some really nice polishes and met with lovely people. I already can't wait for the next exhibition in March!
OMG! It's heaven out there! How did you resist not to buy everything?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
I've had to resist, I didn't have that much money :D :D But yeah, it was really great and I'm always looking forward to these exhibitions
Deleteoh..yes! The money part!:-D I wish the exhibitions here in Romania were like that :D. Maybe, one day, i'll visit the UK during ine of these.:-D
DeleteI wish I could have gone! Do you need to be a beauty professional to get in, like at the Professional Beauty show?
ReplyDeleteYou should be but as bloggers we can go in on press pass x
DeleteI wish I could go to this, but it looks as though it's a trade and professional event only judging by what their website says :(
DeleteI agree with Aby this is heaven on earth!
ReplyDeleteMe and my friend had tickets to this but we both got so ill! I'm so gutted I didn't go! Looks beautiful! Nail polish heaven!
ReplyDeleteJazz x
Oh no, that's terrible! :(( You can try Professional Beauty in March 2013?
DeleteThis is what I imagine nail varnish heaven would look like, haha :)

Omg Lucy!! You were in heaven!! Christ!!!
ReplyDeleteWowo!! That looks so awesome! One word: JEALOUS!! lol that looks like nail polish heaven!
ReplyDeletepolish heaven
ReplyDeleteAhh i'm so jealous. I had a ticket to go, but my fiance who was coming with me had to work and the london underground confuses me so had to give it a miss :-(
ReplyDeleteI would of been in heaven specially at the china glaze stand!
I think if I ever were lucky enough to get to one of these shows, someone would need to follow me around with an oxygen tank because I would be short on it with ally my oohs and ahs going on...I cannot imagine being in an area with so many bottles of polish shades! Looks like you missed the one OPI Skyfall that is the black one with fine yellow green looking shimmer - not a fav of mine I have to say from the photos I have been hounding on line. Ditto with your take on the Skyfall glitters - the one gold is so been done before a zillion times = and the other is just boring! I love some of the reds in this collection however...but the one His Majesty's Secrete Service - well I like Zoya FeiFei way better. Like the SpaRitual polish a lot too.
ReplyDeletehaha i felt like it the first time i went to this exhibition :D It's really great and i always have to restrain myself. Yes, I've missed that shade. I thought i already have it in the basket and i didn't :( i want ti really bad but it's not available anywhere yet :-/
DeleteWow, this looks amazing!! I'd be all over the OPI stand :) xx

Oh you make me wish I had made the journey, too many things going on at home this time. I thought it would be much the same as Pro Beauty, but there are lots more nail brands in your pics I would have liked to check out.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty same as Pro beauty except the different polish collections really..
DeleteAwesome! I would have had to sit down to catch my breath for fear of hyperventilating!
ReplyDeleteI saw in you in the Press Lounge and I wish I'd come over and said Hi now :( Loved the show I behaved because I had so little money this month (however next month is a different matter!). I had my nails done by Filthy Grogeous and loved the range! x
ReplyDeleteAww you totally should have! I've never got recognized, it would have been a shock :D
DeleteOh wow! Can u take me with you the next time??
ReplyDeleteLooks so awesome!!!
