I FINALLY edited the video tutorial for one stroke petals creating a flowery shape. Here is the new manicure I've done using this technique. I have used Pretty Serious Blue Gums On Boxing Day and white acrylic paint.
And this is the manicure that triggered it all...do you remember?
This is a picture tutorial but I recommend you to watch the video as it will show you exactly how I did it.
And a video tutorial for you :) I will be grateful if you'll tell me what I can improve in my videos. I'm a newbie so I won't be offended. Should I speed up more sections? Should I add some music into sped up sections? Am I showing it too slow/fast? Let me know!
wigglewigglewiggle - that's cute :)
ReplyDeletehehe didn't know how else to describe it ;)
Deletevery nice :)

Absolutely gorgeous! Love that green shade!
ReplyDeleteThank you Niki x
Deletenice tutorial and beautiful mani :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
DeleteOk that's gorgeous :) I'm gonna try it tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteBut how do you do this on your right hand?
Does it turn out the same?
Thank you Carry. You have to work slower and more carefully and it probably won't be as precise. But practice makes perfect!
DeleteThank you! I have to try this.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, video tutorial is really useful. Thanks for making it <3
ReplyDeleteThank you for this tutorial! Now i finally understand, how this works ^^ The video is super! Helped me a lot :)
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so glad! Thank you for stopping by x
DeleteLucy, you are extremely cute "wigglewigglewiggle" but also took off the scary edge for this technique! I might even try it sometime instead of just admiring your gorgeous nails!
ReplyDeletehaha thank you Deborah. It is not hard it just needs practice really. And this manicure is much easier than normal one stroke flowers :)
DeleteFirst of all, your unpainted nails.. just wow... Your video was perfect! Perfect lighting, very descriptive, no annoying music, and a speed up at just the right time. I've tried the one stroke petals before but I think my mistake was using polish for the petals. It dried and got clumpy so quickly!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the feedback Rebecca! And yes, it is really hard to work with nail polish, acrylic paint is so much better.
DeleteBeautiful! I can't wait to get my brushes!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteOh and what brushes are you getting? Would you mind linking? I'm always on a lookout for good brushes, especially one stroke ones
DeleteLovely! Your video was 1) adorable and 2) just right--not too fast, not too slow. You have absolutely beautiful nails, so maybe I was just mesmerized by those in the spare time! ;) Haha. Great work! I love to see what new things you come up with :)
ReplyDeletegreat tutorial! ill have to try this out soon!
ReplyDeleteThis tutorial is great! Beautiful petals :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this very helpful tutorial, which was perfect. I'm very pleased that there wasn't music - I much prefer the way you did it. Oh, and your mani is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! these manis are so pretty. Love the color combos and design. thanks for sharing the tutorial to us. I am thinking of trying it out.
ReplyDeleteLove the tutorial just the way you've done it - I don't like music in the videos as it's distracting to me and I'm usually watching with the TV on in the background. GREAT JOB!
