Hello lovelies,
I'm very excited to show you today's nails. I've loved them so much I kept constantly looking at them and I've worn them for days! Firstly, let's take a look at the nails before I tell you more :)
So now you've seen them....aren't they gorgeous? Like colourful beetles on my nails!
I have used Born Pretty Store nail foils #21 and #24. They are gradient and there's quite a lot of them in each jar. BPS sells many different types of nail foils so you don't have to restrict yourself to the gradient ones. If you'll be shopping you can use my 10% discount code LHJ61.
The pictures were taken the next day as the pictures in light box hardly pictured the beauty of them. Because of the delay there are light cracks that appeared overnight. There's no tutorial this time but I plan to do one next time I use gradient nail foils.
Just one more thing - don't use regular topcoat on nail foils otherwise they will crinkle. Use water-based topcoat if you can get your hands on one. I'm currently testing one but it is not on sale yet so can't tell you more I'm afraid.
The nail foils come in these jars...
So what do you think? Would you wear all-foiled-nails? I certainly loved the look!

Um wow! I wouldn't personally wear these, but I think you rock them x
ReplyDeleteThank you Jenny :)
DeleteOoh I'd really like to know how you applied it!
ReplyDeleteI'll be doing a tutorial for this design (different colours tho) in the future :)
DeleteAch, dokonalé!!!
ReplyDeleteDekuju :)
DeleteSo, that's why mine looked so disgusting and I totally disregarded them - next time I know: no topcoat! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the tip**
Yes, topcoat crinkles them! BUT if you don't use topcoat they will get ruined very easily so the best thing to keep them nice is to use water-based topcoat
DeleteGorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteIt look's really great.
ReplyDeleteI already used nail foil, but I putted top coat on top and it looked bleck.
Thanks for the tip.
kiss
Thank you. Hope you'll be able to find a good topcoat x
Deletewow! great work! i like this :)
ReplyDeleteAw this looks so cool!! The colours of the foil are lovely!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous! I love that it appears to be a foil gradient, love the idea of using two gradients to create the rainbow look. Simply gorgeous! <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Natalie x
DeleteWow! It's awesome! I tried nail foils once... It was terrible :(
ReplyDeleteMy nail is not too flat and I'm not too skilled. Mix those ingredients and: FAIL!!!
Not to mention that I dind't use foil glue that time, just a basecoat and waited to be sticky! Hahaha, I'm the worst, I know :(
Have you seen some nail foil tutorials? Maybe they would help?
DeleteOMG I LOVE THAT
ReplyDeleteWow these look amazing :)
ReplyDeleteStunning!
ReplyDeleteive tried foil nails so many times using the adhesive they come with i cannot get the foils to separate from paper/plastic it is so annoying it just sticks to my nail entirely
ReplyDeleteThat is strange :-/ there are few foils i came across that did this to me. they were like leopard print, thicker than the metallic ones
DeleteThese are incredible!
ReplyDeleteAww thank you Amy!!
DeleteThis turned out beautifully! I love how you can't see where the foil comes together ~
ReplyDeleteThank you! The foil is gradient by itself so I just had to place it where the colour change occurs :)
DeleteGorgeous! These are breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteThank you xoxo
DeleteWOW! I'm loving it! I've been wanting to give it a try for a while now, after seeing this, I really think I should just do it!
ReplyDeleteDO IT! They are quite cheap and you can do a lot with them!
Delete<3
ReplyDeleteThanks ;)
DeleteGorgeous products! This reminds me of something from my childhood, but I just can't for the life of me remember what.
ReplyDeleteamazing! :)
