Review and swatches of Darling Diva Holiday, Material Girl and Bitchcraft

*PR sample

Hello lovelies,

What about some indie swatches today? I have here three pretty Darling Diva polishes that I'm sure you'll enjoy :)

Holiday - multicoloured round glitter in a clear base. I've applied one coat of Holiday over Barielle Banana Drop. Some of the glitters are quite big so I needed to play around with the placement. It applied well and dried fast but I needed an extra coat of topcoat to smooth out the surface.

Material Girl - pink jelly with pink, magenta and silver holographic glitter. So pretty and girly shade! The formula is a bit sheer because of its jelly base so I needed three thicker coats for full coverage. It applied well but I did have to play a little with the glitter placement. I've applied topcoat to smooth out the surface.

Bitchcraft - dark grey jelly base packed with holographic particles and duochrome glitter. I love this polish so much! Not only does it have such a cool name that makes me giggle but it is also absolutely stunning! It might seem like regular holo in the sun but when you get into shade the duochrome glitter (just like in Ozotic Elytra) shows itself and creates an interesting colour. I have applied one coat of Bitchcreaft *giggle* over A England Camelot. The polish by itself is on the sheer side so I would need maybe three thick coats for dark colour. Layering is much better option. It applied well, dried fast and gritty so I'm wearing topcoat as well.

Here's one picture in the shade but it truly doesn't show off the beautiful glitter which changes from purple to blue to orange.

You've probably guessed it by now that Bitchcraft *giggle* is my favourite of the three but they are all beautiful creations! You can buy them at Darling Diva Etsy Store. For updates visit Darling Diva Polish Facebook page.

Barielle Swatch Spam!

Hello lovelies,

I have some Barielle swatches that haven't been published yet; I thought you might like to see them...

Blue Cotton Candy - seafoam blue green with silver particles. This is a very unusual shade which has something attractive to it. The formula was just excellent. It applied easily and this is just ONE coat! It dries fast and I have also applied a topcoat to get completely smooth finish.

Life Of The Party - medium pink creme with red undertones. This is a pretty but not one-of-a-kind colour. It had good formula though. The application was easy and two coats were enough for full coverage. It also dried very fast and glossy.

Cherry Blossom Sparkler - pink glitter in a rose pink jelly. I've applied one coat over Life Of The Party. There's enough glitter in the bottle so one coat gives you nice coverage. it applied well but dried a little gritty.

Lilac Jelly Bean - mauve/lilac grey creme. I find this to be very elegant and office friendly colour. It has great formula that applies well and is almost one coater. if you have short nails you could probably get away with one coat but I needed two for perfect finish. The formula was slightly thicker so use thick coats to avoid patching. It dried fast & glossy.

Purple Hearts - blue, purple and holographic glitter in a clear base. It's a pretty glitter topper that I've applied over Lime Crime Parfait Day.It applied well and I liked the amount of glitter. It is not however for wearing alone but for layering.

Stardust - opalescent glitter in a clear base. This little beauty can be applied over any colour to give it a gorgeous opalescent spark. I've layered it over Lime Crime Pastelchio which created quite unique and in real life beautiful combination. It applied well but dried gritty so topcoat is a must.

Pink Diamond - pink glitter in a clear base. There's not much to say about this glitter topper, it's quite simple one-size glitter in a clear base. I've done a gradient over Lime Crime Peaches ♥ Cream.

Floral nail art feat. Delush polish and Barielle Pink and Quartz

Hello lovelies,

Just a quick post today, it's been a busy day for me. I've been to London on a meeting with some other 'nail polish fans' :) It was great to meet and talk to people with the same hobby, I can't wait for another meeting :)

For today's manicure I've used Delush Polish Opalesque (2 coats), Barielle Pink Quartz (2 coats) and acrylic paints for the flowers.

Barielle Life Of The Party and Cherry Blossom Sparkler - review and swatches

Hello lovelies,

Hope you're all very well! I haven't shown you any Barielle polish for a while despite having some sitting in the unpublished folder :)

Life Of The Party - medium/dark pink creme. This is a very nice shade of pink that I like much more than pale candy floss pink shades. It has a great formula which applies very easily. I needed to apply two coats for a perfect coverage. It dried very fast and removal was easy.

Cherry Blossom Sparkler - rose pink glitter in a pink tinted jelly. I have layered Cherry Blossom Sparkler over Life Of The Party as they complement each other nicely. I wouldn't wear CBS by itself as it's quite sheer. It applied nicely and dried rather average so fast drying topcoat is good thing to use.

Recreation of Illamasqua Gilded Gradient Nail Art

Hi everybody!

I've seen this Gilded Gradient Nail Art manicure by Illamasqua and I've decided to recreate it. You can see the original post and watch tutorial video HERE.

Because I don't own all the polishes from the video I had to improvise. As a base I've used two coats of Illamasqua Monogamous. Then I took a piece of sponge I wash dishes with (new one ;) to achieve the 'grainy' look. I started dabbing Illamasqua Victory (gold) to the tips and create gradient effect. The I had to find similar brown-ish colour to Faithful so I chose Barielle Cashmere Or Loose Me. Then I added a little bit of a bling instead of Swinger polish. I've used OPI Spark De Triomphe.

It is not exactly the same manicure but it's close enough I think :)

And this is the original manicure by Illamasqua:

Barielle Buddha-ful over Pink Quartz - Review and swatches

Hello lovelies!

Today? Flakiiiieeees! I finally got my paws on Barielle Buddha-ful and I want to share it :)

Buddha-ful - green flakies changing to blue in a pinky-peach jelly. In this case I've applied one coat of Buddha-ful over Pink Quartz. By itself the polish is sheer and you would need about three coats so it's much better to layer it over a different polish. I was lucky to own Pink Quartz that is almost the same shade as the Buddha-ful jelly base. It applied nicely despite Buddha-ful having a bit thick formula.  I had to use topcoat as the flakies create a little uneven finish but we all use topcoat anyway, right?
