Rococo Nail Apparel City Slick - Review and Swatches

Hello lovelies,

I've dug up another blue manicure, this time it's absolutely gorgeous shade! The polish is called City Slick and it's by Rococo Nail Apparel. I've had some blue star glitter that matched the manicure perfectly, so I threw some in the pics ;)

I want to show my support to Autism Awareness month too so not only I'm posting blue manicure but there is a 'blue giveaway' coming very soon (pssst).

City Slick - vibrant dark blue shimmer. The colour is absolutely stunning, one of the best blue polishes I have! What's even better is the formula - I'm wearing just one thicker coat and topcoat and the coverage is perfect. It applied very easily but I did pay some attention to the brush strokes as shimmer polishes are often streaky. As you can see this one has almost no streaks and it didn't stain my nails. It also dried fast...what more can you ask for?

Abstract foil pattern manicure feat. Rococo Nail Apparel Fashion Victim!

Hello lovelies,

Yesterday I've shown you swatches of the Rococo Nail Apparel Fashion Victim and today I have a foiling nail art with it! I've done a very simple abstract pattern and also a step-by-step picture tutorial. I've used foil glue and three colours of nail foil - Firelight, Thistle and Violet. I've purchase the foils at Dollar Nail Art. No need to say more, the tutorial is self-explanatory :)

Rococo Nail Apparel Fashion Victim - Review and swatches

Hello lovelies,

Lately I've been trying many new brands to me and today I will show you another one. Rococo Nail Apparel is a British brand offering nail polish and nail care products. All Rococo Nail Colours are free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP.

On all websites selling Rococo Nail Apparel you'll see a promo shots of bottles so I was very pleasantly surprised when polishes came in sturdy, beautifully decorated boxes. I love baroque and floral prints so I absolutely adore the boxes! It took me a while to work out how to open them as they are basically two parts - lid that you have to lift up while holding the second part, the bottom side.

I have received two shades - Fashion Victim and City Slick. I will show you City Slick in some future post, today I want you to fully pay your attention to the gorgeous vampy Fashion Victim!

Fashion Victim - burgundy half jelly half creme shade. Now we're talking, this is my kind of colour! I love dark red vampy colours, especially when they have the 'jelly-ness' to it. It applied very nicely and I like the formula only I found it little bit runny. It wasn't patchy at all and thanks to a wide brush the application was easy. I found the polish to be well pigmented as it only took two coats for the coverage you see in the pictures.
