Hello lovelies,
since it's still piCture pOlish Monday, I have here a nail art manicure over Dorothy (reviewed here). I've decided I'll post two posts every Monday - review post and nail art post :)
I have used two coats of Dorothy, black acrylic paint and metal studs.
The studs come from a stud wheel from Born Pretty Store which offers a great variety of shapes and sizes. You can use my 10% discount code when shopping at BPS, it's LHJ61.
And here is an easy tutorial so you can recreate this design! if you do please don't forget to tag me so I can see your work!
Check out the previous post to read the review of piCture pOlish Dorothy and where you can purchase.

Patterned Zoya Thandie nails with tutorial :)
Hello lovelies,
I'm still loving patterns on my nails and today I have here another one! It is a pattern I've seen on a fabric sample but I know it also pattern that is often use in Zentangle drawings.
I have used Zoya Thandie as a base colour and black acrylic paint for the pattern. Keep scrolling, there's a tutorial ;)
This is another manicure that I don't love and which looked better in my head but I still think it was worth sharing :)

Review and swatches of A England Excalibur (new revamped version), comparison and nail art design!
*This post contains PR sample
Hello lovelies,
As you may know, A England has introduced some new shades apart from the recent Burne-Jones Dream collection. I'll show you one of them today. I'm talking about revamped version of Excalibur! I personally love the original metallic silver Excalibur, it is my favourite silver so I'm sad to see it going. The new one is also beautiful though...
Excalibur (revamped) - golden silver foil with coppery gold flakes. This colour is very hard to describe because it's not pure silver or pure gold but kind of a mix of both. The formula is excellent like with all other A England shades. It applied very well and two coats were enough for full coverage. There were no streaks despite the foil finish.
I've done a comparison for you of both A England Excaliburs and shades close to them. Btw would you like to see more comparison pictures like the one below?
And I've also done some doodling over Excalibur using Barry M Nail Art Pen Black :)

Watercolour (aquarelle) butterflies nail art
Hello lovelies,
I was experimenting with watercolours again and I've attempted to paint colourful butterflies. It certainly doesn't look like I've imagined but practice makes perfect :D

Bridal Nails I would wear: One Stroke Flowers over Color Club Miss Bliss
Hello lovelies,
Today I have something very special! I've created these nails quite a while ago upon request of Bridal Tribe, e-magazine for brides to be, to do some special wedding nails. Well I LOVE THESE so much! I've worn them for three days (which is a long time for me!) and I couldn't stop staring at my nails. I must repeat this creation again...
I've painted with white acrylic paint over Color Club Miss Bliss using one stroke technique and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.
Artificial light hides the holographic effect. It all looks very soft and romantic, I absolutely adored these nails!

Diagonal Nail Art feat. Jacava London Candy Floss and Mont Blanc with TUTORIAL
Hello lovelies,
hope you've all had a great weekend, mine was great! I sooo enjoyed the Wimbledon final and I must say - what a match! Hats off to both players for a great game in such heat. My favourite - Andy Murray won and even though I'm not British I rooted for him for the last year or so, he's such a sweet & hard working guy! Have you guys watched?
Plus, there's still Jacava's competition on for whole AW 2013 collection! Check out how to enter HERE and remember that you've seen it at Lucy's Stash!
Well back to the nail art! I've got for you a design I haven't done before and I've created a tutorial as well. This is Jacava London Candy Floss and Mont Blanc with stamping, striping tape.
This is how you can recreate this design:
1. Paint your nails with the base colour, topcoat and let it dry. Then apply striping tape diagonally
2. Tape off two opposite triangles
3. Stamp over the uncovered part
4. Take off the tape
5. paint the opposite triangles with white nail polish (Jacava Mont Blanc)
6. Remove the striping tape and let the design dry
7. Re-apply new pieces of striping tape
8. Cut off the excessive striping tape
9. Topcoat the design
Don't forget to tag me if you recreate this design, I'd love to see it!
