Layering Max Factor Fantasy Fire over Barry M Indigo

Hi lovelies,

I'm sure you all know the Max Factor Fantasy Fire polish by now. I really like it for layering and after one of my readers suggested layering it over Barry M Indigo, I went for it! It created really interesting and beautiful combination. In the last two pictures you can see that Fantasy Fire changes colour to green, it's a very nice effect in real life.

I've previously reviewed Fantasy Fire and you can read it here.

Recreation of Purple Leopard with Max Factor Fantasy Fire

Hello lovelies,

I've recently received press release about Purple Leopard manicure by Zarra Celik using Max Factor Fantasy Fire. I really liked it so I recreated it and here it is. I won't be doing a tutorial because the official press release includes one.

I've applied three coats of Max Factor Fantasy Fire, then created leopard print using nail art striping pen and finished with topcoat.

Max Factor Fantasy Fire (close to Clarins 230 AKA Unicorn Pee) - Review and swatches

Hello lovelies!

I managed to buy one bottle of Max Factor Fantasy Fire for myself before it sold out everywhere. It is really beautiful purple jelly with multichrome shimmer. I've seen few comparisons with Clarins 230 AKA Unicorn Pee ant it was very close. Definitely a good cheaper alternative. In case your local drugstore would be still stocked on these, please, grab me two or three bottles, I love it and want to stock up!

Enjoy the pictures..

This is one coat of Fantasy Fire - as you can see it is very sheer, just a hint of colour and shimmer

This is 2 coats - the colour is more opaque but not completely.

Three coats create very nice cool-based jelly colour with pink shimmer. The shimmer changes to green in different angles.

Fantasy Fire in comparison with Nfu Oh 51 - the base colour with shimmer are very similar, Fantasy Fire looks like Nfu Oh 51 without flakies.

Fantasy Fire layering - over Models Own Snow White, OPI Wocka Wocka!, China Glaze Urban Night and Color Club Black.
