Gold gradient nail art with Shimmer Tracy and Bad Apple Jelly Pink Apple

Hello lovelies,

I've got another pretty gradient here for you. I've used two coats of Bad Apple Jelly Pink Apple as a base colour and then created glitter gradient using Shimmer Polish Tracy. The ring is from ASOS.com

Review of the new Bad Apple Cosmetics gel like polishes - Jelly Ruby Apple, Jelly Red Apple and Jelly Pink Apple

*PR sample

Hello lovelies,

Bad Apple Cosmetics, UK nail polish brand has introduced three new shades and I've been asked to share them with you!

About: "Yes its here! Bad Apple Cosmetics has developed a Gel Like Nail Polish opaque in 2 coats, leave the first coat for 8 mins. Second coat will dry a lot quicker, No UV lights no Bonds, and yes it last for up to 3 weeks. Bad Apple Jelly Pink Nail Varnish, 14ml is one of the exclusive and limited edition shades developed by Bad Apple and one of their collection of nail varnishes."

Jelly Pink Apple - bright pink leaning to coral. It's a lovely shade will suit most. The formula was a bit thicker and the brush was quite hard. I've experienced dragging when thinner coats were used. I needed to apply thicker coats to avoid the dragging and patches. The pigmentation was very good and two thicker coats provided perfect coverage. I've applied topcoat as well.

Jelly Red Apple - classic red creme. The shade is really nice, my kind of colour. I'm sorry to say that it wasn't very easy to work with. The formula was quite thick and fast drying so I needed to apply thicker coats fast to avoid patches. I've also had problems with bubbles as you can see. It might not have been entirely the problem of the nail polish but I haven't done anything differently so I really don't know why the bubbles occurred. Otherwise it dried glossy but I've applied topcoat to try smooth out the surface.

Jelly Ruby Apple - dark burgundy creme purple leaning to red. Is it dark purple or red? Looks like something in between to me but it a very pretty shade. It had the best formula out of all three polishes. It applied well despite the thicker formula and dried fast and glossy.

I really like the colours but I must admit the formula wasn't the easiest to work with. It showed every imperfection on my nails and was on thicker side. What's impressive though is Bad Apple's claim that the polish should last up to 3 weeks. Now, 3 weeks (even a week) is too long for me to wear one colour and I just don't have time to test it as I need to keep swatching so I can't verify this claim. But if you've tried these gel like shades let me know how they have lasted on you!

You can purchase Bad Apple polishes at the Cheap Smells website for really good prices or directly at the Bad Apple Cosmetics website. They also sell nail wraps so if you're into them check them out too!

Textured Leopard Print Nail Art feat. OPI Bond Girls Liquid Sand collection polishes

Hello lovelies,

I feel like I haven't done a leopard print in ages so here's one using OPI Bond Girls Liquid Sand collection polishes. The shades I've used are Honey Ryder, Jinx and Vesper.

I've done the same way as any other leopard print using a dotting tool.

*PR sample

Hello lovelies,

OPI has introduced more Liquid Sands polishes in the Bond Girls Collection and I have swatches of all of them for you! the collection consists of six Liquid Sand polishes and each is named after a Bond girl. So let's have a look at them:

Lucy's Stash - OPI Bond Girls Liquid Sand Collection

Honey Ryder - champaign gold glitter texture. It's a pretty and office-friendly shade which I liked wearing. It applied easily and two coats were enough for full coverage.

Jinx - orange-coral base with gold glitter. The finish is very sparkly and bright, perfect for Summer! Two coats were enough for full coverage and the polish applied very nicely.

Pussy Galore - light baby pink base with fine fuchsia glitter. It's a gorgeous girly shade with blue undertones. Pussy Galore felt smoother to touch than some other Liquid Sands. It had good and easy to apply formula and I needed just two coats for full coverage.

Solitaire - pearl silver white with silver glitter. Solitaire is very sparkly and not overly gritty. It applied well and I'm wearing two coats.

Tiffany Case - aqua blue base with silver glitter. This is my favourite of al the Bond Girls shades, I love how sparkly it is and the bigger silver glitter nicely stands out. I'm wearing two coats that were fully opaque.

Vesper - eggplant purple jelly base with black glitter. The colour is very dark and rich in real life, my pictures don't seem to capture the true beauty of this polish. I've applied to thicker coats for full coverage.

I feel that this collection of Liquid Sand texture polishes have much improved if compared to Mariah Carey collection. The finish is gritty but not too sharp. They all applied easily and were opaque in two coats. The drying time was rather average. The polishes look dry and gritty within 5 minutes but they are not truly hardened so be careful in the next approximately 30 minutes.

The removal is similar to glitters so let them soak properly otherwise the glitter particles stick to the skin. All polishes also look very nice wit topcoat but you'll need at least two thick coats.

Clinique introduces A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin! Swatches of 70º and sunny, Grape Ice, Red Red Red and Happy ♥

*PR sample
Hello lovelies,

hope you're all well! Today I want to show you some more pretty Clinique polishes. Nail polish is range is new to Clinique so I'm sure you'll be curious as to what the colours and formulas are.

"A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins is formulated to minimise skin sensitivity. It is dermatologist tested, ophthalmologist tested and appropriate for sensitive skins and sensitive eyes.

The formula is beautifully balanced to maintain a high shine and streak free application. It is quick drying and available in a wide colour variety, including a few of Clinique’s iconic hues and seasonal, trend setting shades."

Red Red Red - tomato red colour with semi-jelly formula. The colour reminds me of Illamasqua Ruthless a lot except it's a bit darker and it has better pigmentation. I'm wearing two coats which were fully opaque. It applied very easily, dried fast and glossy. I have worn it for five days straight and had absolutely no chipping! I was very impressed with that.

Grape Ice - light purple half-jelly. What a pretty and unusual purple! The formula of this polish was nice and easy to apply. It is well-pigmented for jelly-like finish and I needed just two thicker coats for full coverage. The drying time was average without fast-drying topcoat.

70º and sunny - bright yellow creme. This is a perfect yellow for Summer, very happy and fun! The application was a bit tricky with this one because it dried quite fast. I've had to use thicker coats otherwise polish was prone to patching. Two thicker coats were fully opaque and dried nicely smooth. I've applied topcoat.

Happy ♥ - red/coral creme shade. It applied well but the first coat showed all imperfection on the nail. The second coat followed by topcoat smoothed the surfaced perfectly. The drying time was good and polish levelled itself very nicely in the second coat.
