Hello lovelies,
I'm still loving patterns on my nails and today I have here another one! It is a pattern I've seen on a fabric sample but I know it also pattern that is often use in Zentangle drawings.
I have used Zoya Thandie as a base colour and black acrylic paint for the pattern. Keep scrolling, there's a tutorial ;)
This is another manicure that I don't love and which looked better in my head but I still think it was worth sharing :)

Review of the new Bad Apple Cosmetics gel like polishes - Jelly Ruby Apple, Jelly Red Apple and Jelly Pink Apple
*PR sample
Hello lovelies,
Bad Apple Cosmetics, UK nail polish brand has introduced three new shades and I've been asked to share them with you!
About: "Yes its here! Bad Apple Cosmetics has developed a Gel Like Nail Polish opaque in 2 coats, leave the first coat for 8 mins. Second coat will dry a lot quicker, No UV lights no Bonds, and yes it last for up to 3 weeks. Bad Apple Jelly Pink Nail Varnish, 14ml is one of the exclusive and limited edition shades developed by Bad Apple and one of their collection of nail varnishes."
Jelly Pink Apple - bright pink leaning to coral. It's a lovely shade will suit most. The formula was a bit thicker and the brush was quite hard. I've experienced dragging when thinner coats were used. I needed to apply thicker coats to avoid the dragging and patches. The pigmentation was very good and two thicker coats provided perfect coverage. I've applied topcoat as well.
Jelly Red Apple - classic red creme. The shade is really nice, my kind of colour. I'm sorry to say that it wasn't very easy to work with. The formula was quite thick and fast drying so I needed to apply thicker coats fast to avoid patches. I've also had problems with bubbles as you can see. It might not have been entirely the problem of the nail polish but I haven't done anything differently so I really don't know why the bubbles occurred. Otherwise it dried glossy but I've applied topcoat to try smooth out the surface.
Jelly Ruby Apple - dark burgundy creme purple leaning to red. Is it dark purple or red? Looks like something in between to me but it a very pretty shade. It had the best formula out of all three polishes. It applied well despite the thicker formula and dried fast and glossy.
I really like the colours but I must admit the formula wasn't the easiest to work with. It showed every imperfection on my nails and was on thicker side. What's impressive though is Bad Apple's claim that the polish should last up to 3 weeks. Now, 3 weeks (even a week) is too long for me to wear one colour and I just don't have time to test it as I need to keep swatching so I can't verify this claim. But if you've tried these gel like shades let me know how they have lasted on you!
You can purchase Bad Apple polishes at the Cheap Smells website for really good prices or directly at the Bad Apple Cosmetics website. They also sell nail wraps so if you're into them check them out too!

Barielle Swatch Spam!
Hello lovelies,
I have some Barielle swatches that haven't been published yet; I thought you might like to see them...
Blue Cotton Candy - seafoam blue green with silver particles. This is a very unusual shade which has something attractive to it. The formula was just excellent. It applied easily and this is just ONE coat! It dries fast and I have also applied a topcoat to get completely smooth finish.
Life Of The Party - medium pink creme with red undertones. This is a pretty but not one-of-a-kind colour. It had good formula though. The application was easy and two coats were enough for full coverage. It also dried very fast and glossy.
Cherry Blossom Sparkler - pink glitter in a rose pink jelly. I've applied one coat over Life Of The Party. There's enough glitter in the bottle so one coat gives you nice coverage. it applied well but dried a little gritty.
Lilac Jelly Bean - mauve/lilac grey creme. I find this to be very elegant and office friendly colour. It has great formula that applies well and is almost one coater. if you have short nails you could probably get away with one coat but I needed two for perfect finish. The formula was slightly thicker so use thick coats to avoid patching. It dried fast & glossy.
Purple Hearts - blue, purple and holographic glitter in a clear base. It's a pretty glitter topper that I've applied over Lime Crime Parfait Day.It applied well and I liked the amount of glitter. It is not however for wearing alone but for layering.
Stardust - opalescent glitter in a clear base. This little beauty can be applied over any colour to give it a gorgeous opalescent spark. I've layered it over Lime Crime Pastelchio which created quite unique and in real life beautiful combination. It applied well but dried gritty so topcoat is a must.
Pink Diamond - pink glitter in a clear base. There's not much to say about this glitter topper, it's quite simple one-size glitter in a clear base. I've done a gradient over Lime Crime Peaches ♥ Cream.
So there you go, Barielle swatches that were just waiting to be published :) Which one would you wear?

Dermelect Renegade and Moxie - Review and swatches
*PR sample
Hello lovelies,
I've been trying a new brand to me called Dermelect and today I'll share with you my thoughts and swatches. I've got two shades - Renegade and Moxie. Both are part of the Fearless Beauty collection and their formula contains ProSina Protein Peptide-Hydrolyzed Keratin.
Each polish came in this hard plastic casing and more information about the polish on the back. Polishes itself have a sleek satin silver cap which I find to be very stylish.

Moxie - medium pink creme. The polish has a very nice and easy to work with formula. I haven't experienced any significant problems as the pigmentation was good as well. Two coats were enough for full coverage. The drying time was average to fast but that can be improved with fast-drying topcoat or fast-drying spray.
Renegade - darker jade creme. The formula was slightly jelly-ish and runny but still well-pigmented. I'm wearing two coats which were enough for full coverage. It dried average to fast and glossy.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the polishes. I haven't really seen any reviews of this brand before so I didn't know what to expect. According to Dermelect website the polishes have following benefits:
- strengthens weak, brittle nails
- restores flexibility
- helps resist chipping and splitting
- superior extended wear
- water and detergent resistant
- UV protected
- DBP, Toluene & Formaldehyde free
- cruelty free (no animal testing, ever!)

Sunset Gradient Nail Art with Sticks 'n' Stones glitter & Hex jewelry charm and video tutorial!
Hello lovelies,
I haven't done a gradient for a while so here's one :) I have used the new Zoya Stunning polishes Yana, Thandie and Darcy and it kinda came out as a 'Sunset' gradient. I wanted to make it special so I've added Ninja Polish Sticks 'n' Stones. It would have ended there but then I thought that the nails really lack something special, an accent nail. So I've removed the nail polish from ring finger, done a two tone gradient with Yana and Thandie and added Hex Jewelry charm.
Well, ehm... the charm says "Fuck you!" and I really wanted to use it! :D A while ago I've been lucky and I've won Hex Jewelry's Twitter competition for a set of these swear word nail charms. They fit the nail curve great, I'm co happy they are not flat!
And as a bonus I made a video tutorial for you! I would love to hear your thoughts and don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel! x

Zoya Stunning Collection for Summer 2013 - Review and swatches
*PR sample
Hello lovelies,
Today I'll show you the second part of the Zoya collection for Summer - Stunning. If you've missed the review of the first half of the collection. Irresistible, you can read it here.
Stunning collection consists of six creme polishes in mostly basic colours.

Darcy - warm yellow with very subtle silver shimmer. Wow, I need sunglasses for this one! The colour is super bright and glossy. The application was a bit tricky (I don't know why but yellows usually are). I needed to apply thick coats otherwise the first coat was a bit patchy. Two coats were enough for full coverage.
Thandie - orange creme with very subtle silver shimmer. Pretty but not very original orange shade, might look very nice on toes :) It applied easily and two coats provided full coverage.
Micky - medium pink creme with very subtle silver shimmer. It's a very pretty and girly shade for summer with a hint of coral undertones. The formula was a bit sheerer so I needed to apply thicker coats. Also when I was applying it it was a bit patchy so for this reason I've used the thicker coats as well.
Rocky - medium blue creme. All I can think of is a clear blue summer sky, such a gorgeous colour. I'm wearing two thicker coats as the polish seemed to be little bit sheerer to me. It applied well and dried glossy.
Josie - pea green creme. Grass or peas, both match perfectly this green creme shade. If you're one of the green-shade lovers, you probably won't want to miss it.Two coats provide full coverage and the formula was nice and easy to apply.
This collection offers classic creme shades with a hint of shimmer. They all have good formulas but can be a bit patchy if you're using thin coats. All shades were opaque in two coats and dried fast. I've applied topcoat over all swatches.
Zoya polishes are available at your usual outlets or at zoya.com
