Jelly sandwich combo with Clinique 01 Call My Buff and OPI Polka.com

Hello lovelies,

Just one speedy post today. I've done a pretty cool jelly sandwich using Clinique Call My Buff and OPI Polka.com

I've started with two coats of Clinique, then added one generous coat of OPI and lastly I've added a coat of Clinique. I like how soft it looks, the Clinique is quite sheer jelly.

Hello lovelies,

Before I start a new series of Monday posts I'd like to announce, that I will be changing a platform from Blogger to Overblog this week which will force me to lose the Google Friend Connect widget so please make sure you follow me on some other platform like Facebook, email, Bloglovin' etc. all the link to my social networks are in the top right corner ;) The change will allow me to be more efficient and more active on all my social networks so I'll have more time to reply to comments and focus on other blog work! Back to today's post:

I've gotten an opportunity to review some of piCture pOlish shades so from now on the Mondays will be dedicated to them. If you don't already know, piCture pOlish is an Australian brand that brings many unique shades and it's sister brand is only freaking Ozotic! First polish I'll review is Dorothy...

Dorothy - strawberry red jelly base with magenta and silver glitter. It's a very pretty shade and I think it is great for Summer! I love how some of the glitter is half-sinked in the jelly base so it appears coloured. The finish is very sparkly in the sun and the polish looks gorgeous on toes.

The formula is opaque in two coats and it applied very well. It also dried fast but gritty so I needed a thick topcoat like Seche to smooth out the surface. Because it's glitter it lasted on me four days without chipping so good result :)

What a beauty, right? Stay tuned for a nail art post later today!

piCture pOlish is available at their website or at many international e-shops.

Review and swatches of Darling Diva Holiday, Material Girl and Bitchcraft

*PR sample

Hello lovelies,

What about some indie swatches today? I have here three pretty Darling Diva polishes that I'm sure you'll enjoy :)

Holiday - multicoloured round glitter in a clear base. I've applied one coat of Holiday over Barielle Banana Drop. Some of the glitters are quite big so I needed to play around with the placement. It applied well and dried fast but I needed an extra coat of topcoat to smooth out the surface.

Material Girl - pink jelly with pink, magenta and silver holographic glitter. So pretty and girly shade! The formula is a bit sheer because of its jelly base so I needed three thicker coats for full coverage. It applied well but I did have to play a little with the glitter placement. I've applied topcoat to smooth out the surface.

Bitchcraft - dark grey jelly base packed with holographic particles and duochrome glitter. I love this polish so much! Not only does it have such a cool name that makes me giggle but it is also absolutely stunning! It might seem like regular holo in the sun but when you get into shade the duochrome glitter (just like in Ozotic Elytra) shows itself and creates an interesting colour. I have applied one coat of Bitchcreaft *giggle* over A England Camelot. The polish by itself is on the sheer side so I would need maybe three thick coats for dark colour. Layering is much better option. It applied well, dried fast and gritty so I'm wearing topcoat as well.

Here's one picture in the shade but it truly doesn't show off the beautiful glitter which changes from purple to blue to orange.

You've probably guessed it by now that Bitchcraft *giggle* is my favourite of the three but they are all beautiful creations! You can buy them at Darling Diva Etsy Store. For updates visit Darling Diva Polish Facebook page.

Review of three Cadillacquer polishes - Bring On The Night, Effervescent and Once More, With Feeling

*Press sample
Hello lovelies,

I've had a chance to swatch few more gorgeous Cadillacquer polishes from lovely Madeleine! Today I'll show you three shades, each is different and pretty in its own way :) If you've missed previous Cadillacquer swatches, view them here.

Bring On The Night - black jelly base with emerald green glitter and with just a hint of magenta specks. I find the shade quite unique as usually I see black base paired with blue or red glitter. The polish itself is not very opaque and I think I would need three thicker coats for full coverage so I've layered it. I've applied one coat over A England Camelot. Application was easy and the polish dried fast.

Effervescent - warm orange jelly base with blue iridescent particles and pearl white glitter. Imagine warm beach sand, sea and sunset...that's what I think of when I see this polish. The orange has red undertones making it really warm and pretty. It has white pearl glitter that is coloured by the orange jelly. I'm wearing two thicker coats.

Once More, With Feeling - lavender blue sheer jelly with magenta shimmer and white and pink square glitter. Another pretty combination for the lovers of blue shades. It applied very easily and I'm wearing two thicker coats. They dried average to fast but a bit gritty so I needed to apply topcoat.

All three polishes had nice formula but were a little bit sheerer than I would have expected. Each bottle of Cadillacquer has 15ml and black ridged cap that makes opening the bottles easy.

You can purchase Cadillacquer polishes in Madeleine's Etsy store and they are also available at Harlow & Co. Polishes are priced between $12-14 and international shipping is available. Stay up to date at Cadillacquer Facebook page

Shimmer Polish Swatch frenzy Part 4

Hello lovelies,

I've got some more awesome Shimmer polishes to show you! Shimmer polish is well-known for its pretty glitter bombs and I am always amazed to see more and more amazing combinations! So here they are:

Karen - purple, blue, silver and holo glitter in a lightly tinted base. Karen is girly purple with flashes of blue glitter and looks great layered over pinks and purples. I have applied one coat over Dermelect Moxie. The glitter density is very nice but not dense enough for full coverage in two coats. It dries fast but I needed topcoat to smooth the surface.

Liana - black, dark blue, holo, silver glitter in a grey tinted base. This pretty blue and black glitter combo has just the good amount of gold. The bottle is packed with glitter and it could possibly be opaque in two coats. I have chosen to layer it instead though, I have applied one coat over Zoya Rocky. It applied well and dried fast and slightly gritty.

Amy - light blue, red, pale gold and green in a light pink tinted base. This glitter would work nicely with many different colour bases. I have layered one coat over Zoya Micky. It is also great for gradients (as are most of Shimmer polishes). It applied well and dried fast.

Erica - pea green, holographic, gold and teal glitter in a clear base. This manicure evokes St. Patrick's to me, it has lovely flashes of green and gold. I have applied one coat of Erica over Zoya Josie. It dried fast and gritty so I've applied thick coat of topcoat.

Linna - green, teal, red, gold, orange and blue glitter in a clear base. This colour combo is mostly teal with hints of green and red glitter. I have applied one coat of Linna over Dermelect Renegade. One coat provided nice glitter coverage. I didn't experience any problems with application and it dried fast.
