Lucy does Ikat-ticure experiment! Featuring Zoya and OPI

Hello lovelies,

I'm still not over the gorgeous Zoya collections for fall so I've done another manicure with them. This is my first stab at 'ikat' design. It's not perfect but next time I'll try to do better :)

I've used Zoya Natty, Bevin, Monica and OPI Alpine Snow for this manicure.

    1. Thank you Maria. This mani is quite simple. Just paint the base colour and then paint with thin brush in short strokes. I started from the middle of the pattern.

  5. Oh wow you did an awesome job especially for an experiment. Is it crazy that I was in love with all of the Zoya's Designer Collection swatches but now that I have them I don't love them so much. I am completely smitten by Essie's Stylenomics Collection.

  9. Maybe simple for you to do - not so much for me! I tend to come out with mush when I try doing things that are more than color blocking or maybe some dots! I love - love - love this! The colors are fab together. This would be great to see you do in other fav shade combos of yours too. Too funny as I have just read/seen 3 blogs doing Ikat designs all done the same day! Rebecca (RLN) and Kayla think it was have Ikat as well for Sept5th.

  12. This is beeeeautiful! I absolutely LOVE your blog. Have been following a while now! I really want to try Zoya in Katherine. I am in love with burgundy/wine/deep red colours at the moment! Zoya looks like it gives a nice thick, glass like finish. Love that. X
