Layering Max Factor Fantasy Fire over Barry M Indigo

Hi lovelies,

I'm sure you all know the Max Factor Fantasy Fire polish by now. I really like it for layering and after one of my readers suggested layering it over Barry M Indigo, I went for it! It created really interesting and beautiful combination. In the last two pictures you can see that Fantasy Fire changes colour to green, it's a very nice effect in real life.

I've previously reviewed Fantasy Fire and you can read it here.

  2. Looks really lovely - I've got FF too, but with subtle tones like this, I find it hard to see the glitter and other effects unless I've got it right in front of my nose and in certain lights! It still looks great from a distance, though!

    1. Yeah, i agree! the effect is not as strong as with the original Clarins 230 AKA Unicorn pee but it is very similar x

  5. I must have a look at the MF polish. I've already seen it on Sminkan's blog (do you know this blog?) and it looked wonderful. And over this blue polish is amazing as well. Interesting... I'd never think of MF as of a good nail polish maker ;-)

Well MF is a good drugstore brand which I didn't even noticed before but because of Fantasy Fire it is doing very well now. It is a brilliant colour and I'll be stocking up :D

  12. I love Fantasy Fire. It's a purple jelly? I read your review. Someone else said it's a blue jelly base. I am glad I haven't tried to clone it yet.I have some color-shifting pigment I am going to use to franken myself if I can just find the right base.

    1. Hi Thalie :) In the bottle it looks like blue jelly but on the nail is cool-toned purple jelly :)
