Some time ago I've received these gold leaf pieces for nail art from Born Pretty Store to review. It took me a while to publish this mani but it's finally here! I've tried to do a 'chocolate in a wrapper' nails. I'm not sure you could tell as the squares are not the best ones but hey, I've tried :D
Firstly, I've painted my nails with brown China Glaze Call of the Wild (reviewed here). I've used acrylic paint to paint the chocolate squares. Then I've applied The Best Glue Ever where I wanted the gold foil. When the glue dried I've applied the gold leaf and then started to tear off the excessive parts of leaf. I've finished with topcoat.

DeleteI don't have any of the gold leaf print stuff, so I was wondering if I could use silver (aluminium) foil and then paint it gold. Or, could I use real chocolate wrappers that have been cleaned? It's just an idea. ;D
DeleteI think you could use it but it will be much harder to work with as it's thiccker. This gold foil is really thin and light, easy to tear. But you can try and if it doesn't work you might consider buying the foil. it was just few $. There's a website where I bought it in the post plus you can use my 10% discount x
