Peeking into Paranormal World! Nail Art feat. Illamasqua Omen and A England Camelot

Hello lovelies,

I'm so excited to show you this manicure..actually there's three versions of it!

The theme of the Illamasqua's collection, Paranormal has inspired me and this manicure is supposed to depict tears through the fabric of the universe; between our universe and the one where ghosts, demons and other paranormal creatures live.

I have used Illamasqua Omen and A England Camelot.

Then I said to myself: "Hang on, I could make this even more interesting, white glows under UV light too!" I've outlined the 'tears' and added some distress lines using white acrylic paint and this is the result:

  10. The final version with the white reminds me of this version of the Hobbit cover: http://www.aquarionics.com/files/2012/12/The-Hobbit-book-cover-2.jpg

  16. This is total badassness!!! Is that a word? lol. I love the first version the best. When you added the white it made it look like the comic book version which is ok but I still like it without the white better. I love the mattified version...it looks like the black cracked open and you see the green from inside if that makes sense lol. Ok so I gotta know...how did you start this out? Freehand or tape??

    1. Hi Kellie, so sorry for my late answer! It's all freehand. First I painted my nails green, then outlined the 'tears'. filled the rest black leaving just outlined spaces. then I've added the white :)
