I always see some beautiful water marbling patterns on other bloggers' nails so I wanted to try it too. Well it was a fail :( I got water bubbles kind of like underneath the polish and pattern didn't come up very well. Should I try again?
I`m sorry, but I don't really see how a water marble can fail ;) it might look different then what was expected, but it's always unique!! I liek the look of yours.
This technique definitely takes some practice! As far as bubbling, I would say leave your finger down in the water longer and pull it out very slowly then blow on it a bit.
Thank you guys for the kind words :) I have to practice to make it look nice :) But as you said, every nail is original so it can't be perfect all the time.
I LOVE IT! What colours did you use? I think it is beautiful. I like that every nail is different. I like that there is not a uniform pattern. I like that the colours are close. Would be great for Valentines day. Soft and romantic. In fact it has inspired me. My first water marble attempt is now going to be similiar. Shades of red with varying degrees of shimmer. Thanks! P.S. There is no so such thing as failure only varying degrees of success. The only true failure is to have never even tried! P.P.S. I get that you were just saying it didn't turn out the way you planned.

ReplyDeleteI like it personally it's diffeerent at least!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely try it again. Red and Pink Marbles are hard because the red tends to lech into the pink. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like this. I think it looks like smoke!
