Pibble Polish Deadly Nightshade and Knocking Down The Christmas Tree - Review and swatches

Hello lovelies,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  We made into 2013 despite all the talk about the end of the World :D I hope 2013 will be an amazing year for all of us and because Lucy's Stash will be turning 3 soon, I have another big giveaway planned!

I've been lucky to be able to try another indie brand - Pibble Polish. I'll show you two shades today so hope you'll like them. Little bit about Krys behind Pibble Polish:

"I'd always really enjoyed nail polish - to the point where I kept a whole collection of it since I was a teenager despite being really bad about biting my nails. Around the time the whole indie nail polish business was getting big, I figured out that if I kept my nails painted I could quit biting them AND use my beloved polishes. I started itching to try my hand at nail polish creation, because it was a perfect way to combine my perfectionism & love of color, texture, and visual interest. I've been pretty happily mad scientist-ing it up since!

As far as the rescue dog aspect, Moo came into my life about a year ago. She has a pretty sad background of the neglect and abuse that's tragically not uncommon for pit bulls. Despite that, she loves every person she meets & treats it as a chance to make a new best friend. She's never happier than when she's wiggling her away around strangers & being fussed over (well, maybe except when she gets raw meat, lol). She's such a wonderful friend and an amazing dog & I wanted to share her with the world."

Deadly Nightshade - grape purple shimmer with copper particles. The colour looked slightly duochrome in some angles which makes it really interesting for me. It's such a gorgeous shade and I was surprised how good the formula was as well. It applied easily despite slightly thicker formula. I'm wearing two coats and they were enough for a full coverage. Polish dried quite fast and removal was easy.

Knocking Down The Christmas Tree - olive green shimmer with green, blue, copper and gold particles. It also has good formula, it applied very nicely and it is well pigmented. I have applied two coats for a full coverage. It dried slightly slower than the Deadly nightshade.

Judging from these two polishes I have tried so far I quite like the Pibble Polish brand and the quality. I was actually surprised how good they are since the polishes are not glitter bombs. It is much harder to get a good formula for colour polishes if you know what I mean. You can buy Pibble Polish colours at Krys's Etsy shop
