Barielle Myrza’s Meadow - review and swatches

Hi girls :)

I'm quite tired of the cold and winter weather so I hope today's positive spring-y colour will help my mood a little. I've taken an advantage of Barielle's 50% sale and bought lots of new colours. Barielle UK still has 50% sale plus free delivery but US Barielle doesn't.

Barielle Myrza’s Meadow- light spring green with multicolored glitter. The formula is a bit funny, it is not very opaque in the first coat but two thicker coats are ok. Application was a bit awkward and I'm not sure if it was caused by the glitter in the polish or by the formula itself. The glitter gets colourd so it looks more like  gold colour glitter on the nail instead of muticoloured. It dries gritty so good thicker topcoat is necessary. I've used Seche Vite topcoat. Please excuse my very dry cuticles :-/

  6. I really like this color - but the application sounds icky. I had left this one alone last time I put in a Barielle order. Stil might get it just for the pretty shade and try using it with additional glitter.

    1. The application wasn't awful or anything but I thought I would highlight my problems with it as the formula is not flawless

  11. Not so long ago I did a post about Myrza's Meadow, but on my swatches (which are not so good as yours) and in real there's no gold effect - even in a bottle glitter looks more like a silver one :> LOL

  12. Taky jsem si ho objednala, líbí se mi, akorát mě štve, že na nehtech se ty glitříky utopí a nejdou vidět tolik jak v lahvičce.

  15. This is a really good shade - and it came on the market long before the now rage of all these shades hit. I loved it from the start as we were seeing so many olive/army greens and greens that had darkness to them...or bright greens. We had nothing that was light that was not a mint. I don't look good in mint and most are too chalky. Along came this and pouf - finally I had a green that had yellow and gold in it that I could wear and really got a ton of compliments. It's been a go to color of mine since it came out and jumped into my collection.
