Review of manicure & pedicure products by Tweezerman

Hello lovelies,

some time ago I have applied for Tweezerman Ambassador Programme and I have gotten these goodies to review. I've been testing them for a while and now I'm ready to tell you what I think...

All products came in handy black pouch with white Tweezerman logo. There are multiple pockets inside that can easily contain all possible tools you'll need for your manicure and pedicure.

The first products in the pouch are emery boards. These have different grains (150/220, 100/180 and 100/180)They are not too rough so are good for my natural nails. I use them to file down my nails just before I finish the edges with glass nail file.

The next tool is for feet and heels. It has a good ergonomic wooden handle and two different salt grains. I really liked the rougher side for my heels, it does the job of exfoliating dead and hard skin of the feet very well.  The whole product feels really heavy and well-made.

Next up are clippers - I don't how about you but I prefer to use nail scissors for both hands and feet. So I gave the two clippers to my boyfriend for testing. I just want to point out that they have cute 'Satin Etched' zebra print on them contrasting with the shiny steel finish.

He told me that he liked the bigger clippers for his toenails and the smaller ones for his nails. He also complimented that they were really sharp and well-made. I can tell that too, they feel heavy and robust. I have had quite a few cheap clippers in my hands and the difference is significant.

Then we've got cuticle nippers here. I can't believe I could live such a long time without cuticle nippers! They are great for cutting hangnails which I get very often. Up until  now I used to use a nail file to get rid of them but it's not the best way. The nippers are also stainless steel and well-made and very, very sharp! They also have the cute zebra print so thumbs up.

Another tool I have here is Ingrown Toenails File. It looks little bit like a saw :) I have used it on myself. As far as I understand it you use the smaller end to kinda get under the nail and then you go in with the saw-like end and file the nail off where it tends to grow in. The saw-like end is quite sharp when used on nails even though it feels blunt on touch. The handle has rubber parts to ensure good grip without slipping.

Next up is a Pushy and Nail Cleaner, cuticle tool which I love! The smaller end (at the bottom of the pic) is great for cleaning out dirt from underneath the nails. I use the other end for scraping off dead cuticle skin  around the nail when I use the Blue Cross Cuticle remover. As it's made from steel it's hard so be careful and don't put a lot of pressure on the tool or you might scratch your nails.

I like close-ups :))

Ok, so I'm sure all of you know that Tweezerman does make great quality stainless steel tools right? So I don't have to go on and on again about how much I liked the products. I honestly can't fault them in any way, they are just great. What I really liked is the selection of tools I got to try and I found some tools I never want to be without...yes, I'm talking about the cuticle nippers and the Pushy and Nail Cleaner.

  1. I love Tweezerman. Their products are really nice and you get free sharpening by sending the products to NYC! They sharpen them and make them good as new before sending them back to you. Loves!
