Recreation of Elegant Squares Manicure with Tutorial featuring three SpaRitual shades

Hello lovelies,

I liked yesterday's SpaRitual Optical Illusion shade very much so I've done a nail art manicure with it. This manicure is not my idea, it has been inspired by lovely Sophie from My Awesome Beauty blog. Sophie created a video tutorial of the 'Elegant Squares' manicure so if you prefer video over pictures, watch the video here. Make sure you visit My Awesome Beauty blog as Sophie is extra nice person full of great ideas!

Now to the manicure: I've used SpaRitual Optical Illusion a base colour and SpaRitual Conduit and Back To Your Roots for the different coloured section. I've also used striping tape for defining the sections.

This manicure is super easy to recreate so I've done picture tutorial. However don't forget that Sophie created a video tutorial as well and I don't ask for credit for this manicure. So if you recreate it, feel free to credit Sophie from My Awesome Beauty as it was her idea.

  6. Lucy Lucy Lucy! Once again you have amazed us....looooove this look! I've tried the metallic tapes before but maybe I don't adhere them properly because a day or so later, they begin to curl up. Just beauuuutiful!!! Keep rockin' those nails :-)))))))

    1. Wow, thank you for an amazing comment! What you could try is to apply the tape on slightly wet polish (but it might distort it) OR you could put a bit of topcoat under the ends of thape so it sticks better. then topcoat of course x
